Open Roads ABATE Train Fun Run

9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Aurora Metra Station, 233 N. Broadway St. The train leaves at 10:20 a.m. Tickets cost $10 a person. There is a $3 surcharge for buying a ticket on the train. Friends of the Library Book Sale

New Life for Old Bags

North St. Volunteers turn discarded plastic shopping bags into plastic yarn to be crocheted into sleeping mats for the homeless. Donations of plastic bags can be left at the library.
