NORWAY

Pork Chop Dinner

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Norway United Methodist Church, one block east of Illinois Route 71. The “Chops by Gil” meal will include chops, baked beans, applesauce, rolls and homemade dessert. An adult one-chop meal costs $10 and two chops cost $12. The cost is $7 for children age 3 and older and free for those younger than 3. Pick up the meal or come in and eat while listening to live music. Money will support building improvements.

Norwegian Genealogy Workshop

2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Norway Community Center building just off Route 71. Dave Johnson, board president of the Norsk Museum, will lead this “hands on” workshop. Hogfan Party
